Clumsy Me :/

Posted by Julie Allain

I managed to slip in the shower on Saturday morning and have hurt my right thumb, you don't realise how much you use that little fellow until its out of action :(

Therefore I can't craft and I'm climbing the walls

Here's a couple of cards that I made prior to my accident using my favourite Christmas stamp set 'Tree Trimmings'

I've gone a bit barmy with the distressing but I do like the look of curled edges, adds so much texture to cards in my opinion

Here's a close up

If you would like to earn free Stampin Up products by joining a Virtual Hostess Club, I'm running another stampers 10 club and have 6 places to fill so drop me an email at stampinjules17@gmail.com if you are interested
Hope everyone is ok in blogland and are not as accident prone as me lol xx

On my blog anyway hee hee

All Stampin' Up! products and they are Tree Trimmings Stamp Set, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive & Ruby Red Textured Cardstock and the lovely chocolate chip double stitched ribbon which has been threaded through jumbo eyelets, oh and whisper white cardstock for stamping.

I've also used my new eyelet border punch which I LOVE, I used my markers directly on the stamps, they were ruby red and always artichoke.... the reason that I used always artichoke rather than Old Olive which would have matched the green cardstock is............................ I went a bit colour blind and grabbed the wrong colour LOL well at least I'm honest!!

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend :)

Another Christmas Card...

Posted by Julie Allain

All products used are Stampin' Up! apart from the button

I used Stampin' Up's 'Season of Joy' stamp set for this card, I love the colour combo which is Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgundy, Chocolate Chip & Sahara Sand.

The flower was made using the SU five petal flower punch & I've used my trustee scallop edge punch which is one of my most used punches

I hope everyone is well in blogland :)

Its not long now you know.....

... I won't say it...... but you know its going to be with us very soon, where has this year gone??? I blinked and we are in October!! Scarey..

Anyway last year I didn't send out out handmade cards as I left it to the last minute and then was ill with flu so I vowed to be more organised this year. To be honest I'm doing pretty well, and have a nice little stack of cards made. I'm upping my game though and my aim is to make 10 Christmas cards this month so here is #1 for October. I've used a stamp set that I LOVE, its from the new Stampin' Up! catalogue and is called Tree Trimmings, It is so reasonably priced at only £10.95 for the set. I've also used the mat pack and paper piercing tool on this card as you can see. Now when I bought these items I had to do so by purchasing the crafters tool kit which was over £30!!

Now Stampin' Up! are offering these items separately in our new catalogue which is so much better in my opinion. The Mat Pack is now available to buy at £7.50 and the paper piercer is £2.95, If you'd like to order these items or anything from the Stampin' Up! Catalogue please email stampinjules17@gmail.com

I am entering this card into Fabs Big Christmas Card Challenge as the theme is Green, Now I've used the lovely green 'Certainly Celery' colour so that qualifies but have teamed it with 'Real Red' also but hopefully it still qualifies :)
